Historic Highlands Renovation
Originally built in 1903, this historic row home in the Denver Highlands neighborhood began with a closed off and traditional atmosphere. Brayton Interiors brought the charm back into this historic space. The doorway into the kitchen was widened and custom trim work was added to match the original wood trim throughout the rest of the home. A new custom wood window was added into the kitchen to maintain the historic character and also to work more efficiently. The hardwood floors were refinished throughout and charming shaker cabinetry was added. The new kitchen features handmade brass hardware and plumbing fixtures as well as solid wood tongue and groove on the walls to highlight the historic features this home offers. This kitchen was tailored around two chefs — a professional range and full prep space was added to cater to their unique skills and entertain all of their friends and family, and an antique, heirloom spice rack was inset into the range wall to personalize the space even more.
